I chanced upon this recipe a few months ago when I was down the flu and researching natural ways to combat it. At the time, the weather was transitioning from spring to summer and I fell victim to the seasonal flu. NO MORE!
As the weather is slowly but surely transitioning from summer to fall, I am prepared with this delicious, natural and healthy drink to keep my immunity up. I call this drink the ‘triple threat tea’ because alliterations are fun and because there are so many health benefits of ginger, lemon and honey.

Total time : 22 minutes
– 1 large ginger root
– 1 lemon
– 2 tbsp honey
1) Chop up enough ginger to fill 1/2 cup.
