Beauty Routines – Skincare

The final instalment of my beauty routine series is focused on skincare. My mother ingrained the importance of a skincare routine into me when I turned 13.  Since then, I’ve always followed some kind of regimen. Right now, my skin type is sensitive/combination (oily/normal in spring/summer and normal/dry in fall/winter). My skin concerns center around hormonal acne on my chin/jawline when I’m surfing the crimson wave. I also have occasional redness on my cheekbones and near my mouth. These are the skincare products I use to manage my skin type and skin concerns: usethis 1. Cleanser – First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser 2. Eye cream – First Aid Beauty Triple Remedy Eye Cream 3. Moisturizer – First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream 4. Spot treatment – Lush ‘Grease Lightning’ 5. Face mask –Eminence Eight Greens Phyto Masque (I’ve been using this face mask for 4 years now!) 6. Clarisonic Aria Daily: I wash my face twice a day with the FAB cleanser  – in the morning after breakfast and at night before bed. Then, I apply FAB eye cream and follow up with FAB moisturizer. I use a bit of Lush’s Grease Lightning to treat active spots or spots that I feel are forming under the surface of my skin (yuck. I hate those.) Weekly: Every Saturday, I use the Clarisonic to cleanse my face day and night. After exfoliating with the Clarisonic in the morning, I apply my Eminence face mask.  Then, I wash it off and apply my eye cream and moisturizer as usual. I am going to add a night time treatment and maybe switch up my face mask soon. I’ve been hearing so much about the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the new Potent C+E mask from Eminence. Did you enjoy my Beauty Routines series? Do you have any special beauty routines you’d like to share? Stay true xo
