September 2014 Favorites

It’s that time of the month again! No…not THAT time but the time to talk about what I’ve been loving this month.

Let’s do it!

Lush Dreamwash

I look forward to showering every day because of this little gem. This wash has pretty much helped disappear pesky little bumps on my arms as a result of an allergic reaction to fabric softener.

ILIA lip exfoliant

A lip exfoliant in a tube. Nuff’ said.

Batik Midi skirt

I’ve worn this midi skirt so much…I just love that I can #humblebrag that I designed it and had a friend make it.

Grey cardigan

I got this back in the spring and it’s the perfect light cardigan. I especially love the feather details on the back.

Cliff Mojo Bar

I love this stuff – the perfect mix of salty and sweet. Also, CHOCOLATE.

Triple Threat Tea

I drank this tea almost every day in September. I’m pretty sure downing this tea and eating raw garlic (cut up into pill-sized cubes) helped me stay healthy and combat the first signs of a flu.

Whipped Cream and Pear candle

This candle cost an arm and a leg but holy…was it worth it! Even the Boy, who is at best  ambivalent towards candles, loved the yummy and warm smell.

Lavatory Mist

It was high time I chucked the years-old Febreze we had in the bathroom. This mist smells like fresh lavender and flowers. Most importantly, it works!

Perdido Street Station by China Melville

I really enjoyed reading this book in September. The setting of the book matched the gloomy weather outside (I am a nerd and like the settings of books to match the weather). The best part about the book is the fantastical world the author creates.  Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates adventure stories/out-of-the-box thinking.

Star Wars Commander

I love this game because I love Star Wars (always have, always will). It’s a rudimentary strategy game that has provided me with hours of fun – building a base, training troops, invading enemy bases….#geekgirlforlife

What have you been playing favorites with this month?

Stay true! xo

p.s. I’m playing around with the format of my posts. Let me know if you like this! 🙂
