My favorite fall finds have been fashion-related. I’ve accumulated these things slowly over the past few months – yes, I started shopping for fall in the summer and no, I didn’t blow it all in one shopping trip. Here we go!
– Coats and Jackets –
White Leather Jacket from Topshop
I already own a well-loved black leather jacket (styled here) so I decided why not invest in a white version this fall? Styling a white leather jacket has been surprisingly challenging (I keep reaching for the black one dammit) because it adds a different feel to an outfit that I haven’t fully grasped…I’m keep on keeping on though and do more Who, What, Wear posts around it soon !
Camel Coat thrifted from Front and Company
I’ve wanted a camel coat since I was 16, living in Dubai and read an article on the benefits of owning a timeless camel coat. I’m 25 now and living in a place where owning a camel coat makes sense. I really lucked out thrifting this one and have been throwing it over a lot of outfits. The oversized fit makes this coat really cuddly and warm.
– Sweaters –
Kooky Cat Sweater thrifted from Front and Company
I saw this one the rack and knew that I had to get it. So here it is…a cat sweater taking its rightful place in my wardrobe.
Cropped Sweater from American Apparel
I know, I know…American Apparel. Controversy, controversy…and did I turn into a hipster? No, I did not. I liked the warmth that this cropped sweater provided and I’ve been looking for a cropped sweater to use with high waisted skirts and pants or layer over a dress.
– Star Wars clothing –
Yes, this is category of clothes.
Star Wars Graphic Tee from Gap (Men)
I also got a pair of SW leggings with a Darth Vader/Stormtrooper print because…why not? I’ve loved SW since I was a kid and finding SW themed clothing makes me happy.
– Little Black Things –
Black Flowy Top from Barefoot Contessa
This flowy top with sheer lace detail at the back practically screamed my name when I saw it on the rack. I like that it is flowy enough to wear in any season and light enough to layer under heavier coats. It also covers my butt which means I can use it with leggings!
LBD from XOBella
I’ve been searching high and low for a black dress that can de dressed up or down and I think I found THE ONE. I like the t-shirt cut and texture of this dress.
Cloche from The Whistler Hat Gallery
I know wide-brimmed hats are in right now but fedoras were so 2008 for me! Been there, done that. I really love this cloche – the shape of the hat is unlike the cloches I’ve seen in Vancouver stores. I’m digging the 1920s feminine vibe it channels.
