Review: Lush Eau Roma Water

Hi all! Today, I’ll be reviewing Lush’s Eau Roma Water. I’ve been using this for a month now so here are my thoughts.

DSC01858

What it promises (from the Lush website):

~ moisturizing toner

~rose and lavender oil can treat dryness, redness or irritation

~ rose water helps retain moisture and evens skin tone

~ lavender helps your skin produce the right amount sebum (oil) to keep it suppler

~ great for dry, sensitive, mature skin

~ restores parched skin

What it delivers:

I use this on my face every morning instead of washing it (overwashing = bad for my skin).I use 4 spritzes each on 2 cotton pads and wipe my face down gently.

I can’t say my skin has gotten better with use but it hasn’t gotten worse! I am usually very wary of trying out products due to my sensitive skin but this did not break me out or cause additional redness whatsoever. My skin feels clean and hydrated (not tight wahoo!) after use with cotton pads.

Price point: At $9.95 for theย 100 ml and $21.95 for the 250 ml, it’s pretty darn affordable. Mine has lasted well over a month and I think it’ll last me another 2 -3 months at least.

Rating: B+

Final thoughts: It does what it says it will do. I like the fact that it’s not loaded with ingredients. Simple and effective. Perfect for lazy girl skincare.

stay true xo

    • it’s great as a hydrating mist too. simple and effective. I used it in the late summer/early fall on my face when I needed more hydration midday. xo

    • yes!! me too! sensitive skin is so difficult to deal with so finding something that works is always amazing. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I totally thought i was normal to wash twice a day and then I saw how great Cassie’s skin (Cassie from Cloudy Apples) was and her pro tip was to only wash once a day. It’s been balancing out my normal/dry skin and really helping to keep the dry patches less dry. ๐Ÿ™‚
