Fall 2014 Empties & Product Purge

The end of another season brings…empties! Let’s get into it!

Note: This post will also include a product purge…I can’t donate these products in good conscience since they are expired.

From left to right:

Patrick Curelle Hand & Body Lotion – A great body lotion that quickly absorbs into the skin. I will be repurchasing again in the summer.

Lush Dreamwash – Not 1, not 2 but 3 of these babies! I’m currently on tub no. 4…I’ve fallen in love with this simple yet calming product for sensitive skin. For a more thorough review, read this.

Principessa Dry Shampoo – I’m already on my second mini tub on this. This stuff keeps the greasy roots at bay. For a more thorough review, read this.

Rubbing alcohol –  I use this to sanitize my brushes between deep washes, my makeup, my yoga mat…overall sanitizer extraordinaire.

From left to right (back row to front row) :

Goldwell Shampoo and Conditioner – Expired! This worked well for me when I was using it otherwise but I’m using the more natural JMO shampoo/conditioner combo now 🙂

Pureology Shampoo – Expired! I liked this clarifying shampoo when I was using it.

Tresemme Heat Protectant – I found an all-natural alternative in coconut oil so I’m ditching this chemical laden product.

Garnier Fructis Style hairspray – See above explanation. Garnier is also on the BDS list.

Goldwell Rich Repair Hair Mask – Expired! This hair mask was awesome when I was using this because it only took 60 seconds to work its magic.

Essie Nail Polish – Expired! Yes peeps…nail polish does expire after 1 year of use.

Nivea lip balm – Expired! This smells rancid now (yuck). I wasn’t a big fan of this lipbalm…it didn’t work out for my dry lips.

What are some items you used up this past fall?

stay true xo
