Beauty Favorites of 2014

I majorly overhauled my skincare, haircare and body care routines this year.

2014 was the ‘year of investment’. I took the time and money to find things that worked for me. I started to develop sensitive skin and eyes earlier in the year which meant I was on the lookout for things that would help me manage my skin.

The things on my list are all products I would definitely repurchase again in 2015.

What are some of your beauty favorites in 2014?

  1. Just to share: The Body Shop Shea Body Butter is work on me. Maybe you wanna try that next year (if you’ve never tried it before) πŸ™‚ And natural skin and body cares like virgin olive oil are the best, even though we need little more time than comercial products.

    • It’s always nice to find something that works for you. Thanks for the tip πŸ™‚ Unfortunately, I don’t buy from The Body Shop since they are on the BDS list. I do agree that natural oils are the way to go though…I bought some jojoba oil recently and can’t wait to experiment. Thanks for stopping by! xo

      • Oh, really? I think TBS is not the part of the list. I mean, it has aim for human right in their business, so its different than other product from L’oreal. Thanks for info. I will try to change my product if theres another product that works on my very dry skin without making my wallet become more skinner.

By the way, nice to meet you. πŸ™‚

      • Nice to meet you too! L’oreal actually owns TBS πŸ™‚ Have you tried Lush? I really like their body wash, toner and spot treatment!

      • Not yet. Even I dont know what is Lush. Hahaha. And when I tried to find it on Google, unforunately, theres no Lust store in Indonesia. I should ship that from Singapore. Probably I’ll try to find local brand first that have similar product with TBS. Thanks for your kindness, syah! πŸ™‚
