Today, I’ll be doing a review of a product I’ve been using for the past 5 years…Behold! The one mask to rule them all!
What it promises:
~ improve hydration and elasticity
~ improve the appearance of signs of aging
~ normalize oily skin and prevent breakouts
~ immediate skin stimulation resulting in a rosy glow
~ stimulation of blood circulation
~ appearance of firm, fresh and smooth skin
~ improved appearance of problem skin areas
~ revitalized, more youthful looking complexion
~ improved reduction in appearance of fine lines and skin texture
What it delivers:
To use this mask, I get out a small amount (half a teaspoon) with the applicator provided (or a Q-tip) and add a couple drops of water. I emulsify the water and mask and apply it evenly all over my face. Wait time is 10 minutes and then I rinse multiple times with water.
I’ve been using this mask religiously once a week for the past 5 years and it’s stuck with me through thick and thin. This mask has seen some sh*t y’all. Last year, I started using the mask twice a week when unexplained redness surfaced on my upper cheeks and after 2 weeks, the redness subsided almost completely.
The best part about this mask is that it addresses a lot of typical skin concerns – anti-aging, anti-blemish, anti-redness, anti-inflammation & hydration. For me, this mask set the bar for all other masks I’ve experimented with.
Price point: $60 for 2 oz. This is definitely pricey but I only use it once a week and it lasts for 8 months! I’ve been using this mask for 5 years now and have repurchased it like clockwork every 8 months.
Final thoughts: I would definitely recommend this mask to someone who is in their early to mid twenties. It’s a great all-rounder since it addresses a lot of skincare concerns. If you had one particular concern that troubled you, I would check out the other more targeted masks from Eminence.
you’ve been stylesyah-ed! 😉 xo
