Summer Lips and Cheeks

Last week, I talked about products for my summer base makeup. This week, I’m showing you the lip and cheek options I’ve been pairing with my base makeup for this season.

These are the three lipsticks that will continue to be heavy rotation this summer.

Bite Beauty ‘Cin Cin’ – A sheer coral lipstick. I’m not sure why the swatch on my arm turned out so pigmented but this is actually a lovely sheer wash of coral on my lips.

Lipstick Queen ‘Saint Hot Rose’ – A sheer pink that makes my lips look a little bit healthier and younger than they are now. Lovin’ the sheers for summer.

Bite Beauty ‘Rosewood’ – A satin finish deep plum-rose color. This lipstick is a little bit heavier for use in the summer but it’s my MLBB color! You can see Rosewood in action in the picture below.

I’ve really been loving the bronzer lately but sometimes, you just want a little something more to define those cheekbones. Here are two cream blushes I’ve been loving lately.

Kjaer Weis ‘Sun Touched’ – This seems to disappear once blended but it actually imparts a subtle glow that defines my cheekbones with a healthy pink warmth. This mysterious color is fabulous when paired with a bronzer. I ordered a sample but I might just have to get the full size soon!

Jouer ‘Amaryllis’ – When I want a more defined cheek look, I love using this color. It looks pretty scary in the tub but once blended on my skin, it looks like I’ve just been pinched! It’s buildable which means I can play around with how ‘pinched’ I want to look. I see myself wearing this one for all seasons, not just the summer.
