Review: Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen

This week, I’m reviewing Suntegrity’s 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen. Let’s go!

What it promises from the Suntegrity website

~”UV Chemical-Free” Tinted Sunscreen/Beauty Benefit (BB) cream

~ treats, hydrates, protects, primes and covers the skin

~ provides mineral Broad Spectrum SPF 30 protection.

~ non-nano sized zinc-oxide protects the skin from the damaging UV rays

~ zinc-oxide is anti-inflammatory and often help skin conditions like rosacea, acne, and melasma.

~ available in 4 tints (Fair, Light, Golden Light, Medium)

What it delivers:

Processed with VSCO

a swatch of the formulation (blended and unblended)

Suntegrity is a green/eco/natural beauty brand. Their products are vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free as well as free of parabens and sulphates. I bought this tube of tinted sunscreen in ‘Medium’ via Clementine Fields.

In terms of packaging, I really like the generously sized tube and the pump dispenser. I use one pump for my entire face.

As you can see from the first photo, the tint looks a little orange when roughly blended. When blended fully on my face (as seen in the second photo), it is seamless. It covers redness on my cheeks (thanks rosacea) and evens out my skintone. I find that when applying this product, it needs a few minutes to set on my face. With additional concealer in some parts of my face, this my go-to face when I feel like wearing makeup.

The finish is not matte so folks who don’t like the dewy effect could give this a pass. I personally love the dewy finish that this product imparts throughout the day.

I also appreciate the SPF factor of 30. My day moisturizer has a SPF of 25 but additional SPF in any face product is great. Plus, the zinc oxide feels comfortable on my skin and doesn’t aggravate my acne rosacea.

Price point: $58 for 1.7 oz/50 ml

Final thoughts: I really like this product! It’s competitively priced. I really like that it is a green beauty product so I feel good knowing that I’m not putting toxins on my face on the daily. It receives a good solid A because it works!

Update as of January 2016: I wore it everyday on my 3 week trip to Singapore in December 2015 and it didn’t cause my forehead to break out (a tell tale sign of pore clogging for me). I’m super impressed with this product and will definitely repurchase!
