I’m still in a daze from packing on the weekend and making the 22 hour trip across the world this week. The fact that I can end up in an entirely different continent within 24 hours will never fail to amaze me. I learn to appreciate the importance of little things whenever I travel. I hope you enjoy these photos and that you had a wonderful week.
A few days before I left for Singapore, the Boy and I made a trip to Granville Island. We sat at a bench next to this willow tree and watched the ducks relish springtime.
I recently finished Julia Cameron’s ‘The Artist’s Way’ and am committed to doing morning pages daily. I decided to purchase a fountain pen and a new notebook to write in. They’ve been bringing me pleasure each morning.
While I was packing on Monday, The Boy gently reminded me to eat lunch. I decided to try a new recipe of coconut-chicken noodles. It was delicious and brought some respite from the stress of packing.
I snapped this picture while waiting for my flight to Hong Kong early Tuesday morning. First Nations art installation and a giant fish tank.
Today, I ate watermelon for breakfast. Fresh fruit is one of the things I enjoy most about being back in Singapore.
