Five Things: Foodie Paradise

Singapore is nothing if not a foodie’s paradise. From abundant fruit to fresh seafood to traditional Malay homecooking (courtesy of my mum), I’m always spoilt for choice when I visit.

I always eat some type of fresh fruit with breakfast. This bowl is made up of freshly seeded pomegrante seeds, juciy honeydew and sweet green grapes. Yum!

I love eating out in Singapore because you are simply spoiled for choice! I had dinner with my sisters at Fish & Co. and we ordered this gorgeous seafood platter. Mussels, grilled squid, grilled prawns and fish with paella rice and fries. I’m getting hungry thinking about it!

My friends from Grade 6 and I try to meet up every time I’m back in town. This time, I decided to cook some spaghetti and meatballs. Brownie for dessert makes up for the lack of greens right? šŸ˜‰

My mom’s super delicious and traditional roti kirai (stringy bread) with her yummy ayam masak merah (chicken in red curry). I could eat this everyday!

I’m not a big fan of sweet beveragesĀ but I did enjoy this bandung (milk with sweet rose syrup). It was deliciously refreshing!
