Spring has sprung ! The cherry blossoms are out in full bloom and the sun is shining. I’m putting away my heavy knits and skinny jeans and busting out my flared pants and dresses.

I wanted a fun look for spring so Beth handpainted warm highlights onto my hair to give it dimension. Then, it was a wash, blowdry and a dry cut for me. A dry cut after a blowdry works best with my natural hair texture.
Beth styled my hair with Living Proof products :
Living proof full shampoo (not pictured): A lightweight shampoo that cleanses without weighing hair down.
Living proof full conditioner (not pictured): A detangling and lightweight conditioner. I love lightweight products as my hair tends to get weighed down easily with volumizing products.
Living proof full thickening cream (pictured above): A lightweight cream that adds thickness to hair. Applied to the roots of my hair while damp.
Living proof root lifting hairspray (pictured above): A lightweight spray that creates lift and height. Beth sprayed this to my roots before rough drying them.
Living proof blowout (pictured above) : A heat protectant that decreases blowout drying time. Beth sprayed this all over my rough dried hair before blowdrying.
Living proof flex shaping hairspray (pictured below) : A finishing hairspray. Sprayed on my hair as a last step.
My first impression of Living proof products are very positive. I really like that they claim to be lightweight yet volumizing – it’s a struggle finding products that work on my slightly wavy and coarse hair. My sensitive nose (and head) also appreciates the pleasant, non-overpowering scent.
I went home with two products to try out on my next blowdry at home. Reviews to come!
As always, Beth nails it when it comes to my hair – it is such a privilege to be in her chair!
