Review: W3LL People Bio-Correct Multi Action Concealer

W3LL People recently launched their new concealer and I decided to try it out since I was on the lookout for one anyway. Read on for my thoughts!

What it delivers:

Buying this concealer was tricky because it was only available to me online and there weren’t many swatches of the Medium vs. Medium/Dark color. I eventually decided to get the concealer in Medium/Dark – the darkest shade available. There were almost no swatches of this color online when I purchased this (last month) so here you go, olive/dark skinned peeps!

My first thought when I swatched this concealer was ‘This is was way darker than I expected’. The Medium/Dark shade was a big jump from the Medium shade (some swatches here) so I am a little disappointed at the shade range. This is also darker than the previous concealer I used (Cover FX in G Medium-Deep). Although this concealer is a little dark for me, I would say that anyone with a skin tone similar to mine (light olive) could use this shade as long as you blend it in well.

My main demand from a concealer is for it to conceal my rosacea-prone skin. I don’t have terrible eyebags and I rarely get angry pimples anymore (thank you Universe) so those issues don’t concern me as much. Below are some pictures of my skin in various stages of makeup.

The texture of this concealer is mousse-like and easy to blend…as long as you do it quickly after application. I made the mistake of letting it sit for a few minutes once and I found it harder to blend.

The formula does seems to enhance dry patches so be sure to start with a sufficiently moisturized base and blend well.

When I used it under my eyes, my eyes looked brighter and more awake. It definitely neutralized the darkness under the eyes. However, the product can crease especially if you put on too much. A little goes a long way with this. Again, blending is key here.

The claim that it wears all day is true. This concealer does not budge and it wears beautifully throughout the day. I did not notice my rosacea as long as this concealer was on my face.

Price point : I bought this from Clementine Fields at $31.50 for 0.25 oz.

Rating : B+

Final thoughts : I will keep using this concealer because it works. I’m a little disappointed by the lack of color choices. I would recommend this for anyone concerned with under eye bags or  in need of a high-coverage natural/organic/cruelty-free concealer.

What do you think of this concealer? Would you give it a shot? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Never heard of the brand W3LL People. This looks good – I’ve not seen a mousse texture concealer before. Your swatch of the product looked dark but it blends in quite well.

    • yup, it does blend it well which shocked me a little! I’m going to keep using it because it blends in so well so it doesn’t look too stark on my skin 🙂

    • yes I was very disappointed in the color range too! 😦 This one wasn’t perfect for me either. Surprising since I looked at their other complexion products and it seemed pretty vast.
